1.01 - Pilot Episode - September 20, 2005 |
| In the first episode Earl
played by Jason Lee has been full of poor choices and mistakes, but
after winning a small lottery jackpot he has an epiphany and vows
to change his ways. Upon discovering that he is the holder of a winning
ticket, Earl is hit by a car and the ticket blows out of his limp
hand as he lies unconscious in the street. While recovering in the
hospital and watching television, Earl has a karmic epiphany, thanks
to Carson Daly, who attributes his success to doing good for others.
A light bulb goes off in Earl’s dim head and he sets out to
right every wrong he has done starting with a grade school geek |

1.02 - "Quit Smoking" - September 27, 2005 |
| Earl has to make something
up to Donny, a criminal who spent two years in jail for a robbery
Earl committed. The only way he can help Donny is by helping his mother
quit smoking. In another storyline Joy finds out she is the beneficiary
of Earl's will and tries to kill him to get the money. |

| Back when Earl and Randy
were in highschool, Earl ruined Randy's chance to score a touchdown
during a key football game; now Earl must figure out a way to make
things right. |

| When
Earl met a rough biker chick at a Halloween party once, it seemed
like a match made in heaven. As it turns out it was a mismatch of
great proportions. Earl then takes a drastic step to get out of her
life. Now, years later, Earl must find a way to make amends for deceiving
the girl. |

| Earl decides to teach English
as a Second language. Ralph, an old friend of Earl's is released from

1.06 - "Broke Joys Fancy Figurine" - November
1, 2005 |
| It seems Earl broke a Figurine
Joy won in a beauty contest. Earl help's Joy's former adversary and
her daughter win a mother/daughter beauty pageant to get the figurine.
Earl's plan takes a wrong turn when Joy enters the pageant also with
her "dead" mother trying to win that same figurine, hoping
to trade it for a hot tub. |

1.07 - "Stole Beer From Golfer" - November 8,
2005 |
| When Earl tries to atone
for something simple from his list, things get complicated and he
ends up neglecting Randy. From TVguide.com, Earls repayment of ill-gotten
beer reveals his actions had severe repercussions for a golfer, and
he sets to right them all, though it may mean missing the county fair. |

1.08 - "Joy's Wedding" - November 15, 2005 |
| It seems Joy and Darnell
are getting married. Randy's invited to Joy's wedding but Earl isn't.
The event is purposely scheduled on Earl's birthday, leading to an
addition to Earl's list. |

1.09 - "Cost Dad The Election" - November 22,
2005 |
| In this episode you will
meet Earl's father Carl played by Beau Bridges. Earl cost his father
the election 4 years ago when Earl was caught on tape in a misunderstanding
with a police officer. Carl's oponent at the time used the tape for
his campagne commerical. So Earl, Randy and Catalina set out to help
Carl become mayor. |

1.10 - "White Lie Christmas" - December 6, 2005 |
| Well this time it is number
74 on the list. Number 74 is "Always Ruined Joy's Christmas."
Earl, Randy, and Catalina enter a radio contest to try and win a new
car for Joy. Winning the new car for Joy will make up for all of the
thoughtless Christmas presents Earl ever gave her while they were
married. Meanwhile, Earl finds out that Joy's parents still think
they are married. Joy is afraid to tell her father, an alleged racist,
that she is now married to Darnell. Earl see's an opporunity to make
this Christmas right and plays the part. |

1.11 - "Barn Burner" January 5, 2006 |
| Joy tires to enroll her
children into the Right Choice Ranch for troubled youth, unfortunately
she is denied enrollment because of a barn burning incident at the
hands of Earl when he was younger. Earl, Randy and Catalina go to
the camp to make amends for the barn burning by building a pen for
the camp’s ostrich. Earl learns the real reason behind the barn
burning incident and takes action. |

1.12 - "Oh Karma, Where Art Thou" January 12,
2006 |
| In this episode Earl and
Randy try to return a stolen wallet they found. They find out when
they took the money it cost two newlyweds their honeymoon. In an attempt
to make things right Earl takes over for the groom at his fast food
restaurant. After time Earl finds out the boss is a jerk and Earl
wonders how such a man with a luxurious house and beautiful wife could
not be affected by the only thing he believes in, Karma. |

1.13 - "Stole P's HD Cart" January 19, 2006 |
| Earl crosses another number
off the list when he returns Pops’ Weiner Hot Dog cart he and
Ralph (Giovanni Ribisi) stole in his youth. The good deed does not
last long as Ralph, who works for a competing franchise sets fire
to Pops cart. Earl now must set things right with a bizarre plan while
recruiting Randy, Joy, Catalina and Darnell to assist him. |

1.14 - "Monkeys In Space" January 26, 2006 |
| When one of Earl's old friends
is arrested he decides to make amends for number eighteen on his list
- "told an inappropriate story at Hank Lange's birthday party"
Hank requests that Earl give him one good day to make up for that
one bad one before he is sent away to the state prison. |

1.15 - "Something To Live For" February 2, 2006 |
| Earl (Jason Lee) takes his
car troubles as a sign that it is time for him to redeem himself for
a long run of stealing gas out of a complete stranger's car. A few
months back, Earl and Randy (Ethan Suplee) siphoned gasoline for about
a month from an unlock car in the trailer park. When Earl goes back
to the trailer park to return the gasoline, he discovers that the
owner Philo (guest star Adam Goldberg, "A Beautiful Mind")
is an annoying and suicidal man who is more determined than ever to
succeed with his suicide attempts. Unable to just walk away, Earl
makes it his duty to give Philo a reason to live and it seems that
setting him up on a date with Joy (Jaime Pressly) is the only way
of doing this. Earl and Randy however, find that something else they
provide is what will ultimately save Philo. Nadine Velazquez and Eddie
Steeples also star. |

1.16 - "The Professor" February 9, 2006 |
| Earl stole a laptop from
a college professor and now has to return it but he is nervous, mostly
because he's uncomfortable around smart people. When the professor
turns out to be a beautiful woman, he feels even more ill at ease,
until she flatters him and asks him to speak about his list in front
of her class. Meanwhile, Randy finds out what FRAT life is all about
and has some fun doing it. |

to the goverment after failing to pay his taxes. |

| Mother's Day has come again
and Earl remembers that he has never given his mother a Mother's Day
gift. Just as he and Randy are about to finish carrying out his long
overdue gift, his mother decides her repayment should include Earl
doing something for his father. |

| While Earl is attempting
to cross number 24 off his list, Randy tries to get Earl to back down
by trying to make him remember, through a flashback, how they got
the machine around New Year’s Eve 1999. Darnell convinces the
gang to believe that Y2K will signal the end of the world. |

| Earl
decides to cross off "made a kid scared of the boogeyman"
from his list, he discovers that the lasting effects on a little boy
could be more then he wants to deal with |

| This time earls list brings
him to #45 "Ditched Jessie to Mary Joy". Jessie, Earl's
ex-girlfriend returns to town seeking revenge. Earl must protect Joy
in a lakeside retreat while Randy fights not to reveal there location
to Jessie. |

| Earl attempts to cross out
number 147 on his list "Shot Gwen Waters with a BB Gun".
To make things right he must reunite Gwen with her estranged father
which Earl finds increasingly difficult. |

| Earl decides to cross off
the first number on his karma list, “Stole ten dollars from
a guy at the Camden Market.” Earl to his dismay finds out that
he owes much more than ten dollars, in fact he must surrender all
his lotto winnings. Earl now ponders when karma is going to help him
with his misfortunes. |
